Colorful Days Hotel is a hidden gem in terms of value for money. With clean rooms, up-to-date furnishings, and basic amenities, it offers great quality for the price. The friendly staff, like Aunty Chen, go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast spread, with both Chinese and Western options, is a perfect start to the day.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and I think we stayed in one of the recently done up rooms as the walls were fresh and white. Ours was a basic standard room on the second floor, facing the main road. The room has good soundproofing so unless you are an extremely delicate sleeper, cuts out a lot of noise. The room was clean, cheery and bright, with great big windows. Not fancy, but for the price, it's decent accommodation. Great service from the helpful staff, the day reception speaks a little English. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel, which is great. It's a few minutes walk to either Zoo or Ouzhang metro station, so real easy to get around.

The see-through bathroom could pose a problem for sharing friends, but you can pull the screen down. The screen, which is on the inside, are a little mouldy. Wifi did not work in the room, you'll have to go to the lobby and it works fine there.

I recently stayed at a hotel that was conveniently located near crowded shopping areas. It was just a short distance from the zoo and the metro station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city. The room was spacious and well-furnished, providing a comfortable stay. The bathroom was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. there were plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from, providing a variety of dining options. The hotel even offered a delicious breakfast each morning. it was a great experience.

The noise from nearby construction was a bit bothersome at times.

Nothing will never stay there, I paid more than what I had expected I had to chane rooms cos the toilet was leaking had to beg them to clean my room.

I liked the location- Yuexiu district.There are two positive things about the hotel- 1.girls at the reception speak English, 2. the size of the room is ok, that's it. Checked feedbacks on this hotel and, unfotunately, decided to stay there...

I don't like all the rest: all the appliances, everything in the room is extremely old!!! The rooms have not been repaired for years- it's just not visible on pics. Rooms are dirty- when I first came in there was a smell in the room, I made them change the bed sheets- I found hair on it..the floor was also extremely dirty, nobody has even bothered to clean the dust; plus you can't take a shower normally making the shower thing hanging - it's impossible, really a horrible place which is sold as "business class rooms"..Then I changed the room, at least it was without a smell. Breakfast is miserable, I wonder how they can charge 38rmb for it (if not included)- it's just some barely eatable cold food, coffee from the coffee machine is disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Great location close to public transportation and restaurants. The room was relatively clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff can speak basic English and are knowledgeable.

The room lacked amenities and the electronic key almost always failed to open the door. The air quality was poor, and there was no proper ventilation system.
